Graduation Thoughts by Cavan
I have learned so much this year, and past years from the teachers and students of First Day School Meeting. Not only me but the rest of the children in First Day School Meeting have been able to simulate a real meeting. While I was clerk FDS Meeting, we were able to get a walkway in front of the meetinghouse, host a few pot lucks, and much more. I have personally learned much about how people work together and how they get along. I have also learned how to solve problems more controllably and effectively. I have also learned much about Quaker history and famous Quakers. I am looking forward to coming back next year, and I give my best wishes to next year’s clerk, Nick, and coclerk, Josh.

Graduation Thoughts by Giulia

Graduating Elementary B is different for me, since I've been in First Day School since Elementary A, and I was even in the Nursery for a while when I was younger. I don't know how different it will feel being upstairs the whole time, and being on Hospitality Committee. I'm glad I've gone through all these years, because I've gotten much more knowledge about how Quaker Meeting is run, and about the religion in general. Leaving First Day School will be hard, since it is so much fun being around the other people, and it is so much fun to plan out activities to help the community. I'm sure I will visit, and would like to encourage First Day School to continue doing as well as it has and I know they will go above and beyond.
Packing Up By Elizabeth
On June 8th, First Day School packed up all their materials because of the renovations. It was a busy scene downstairs as we cleaned out everything we had accumulated over the years, dividing things into three piles: things to keep, things to send to the yard sale, and things to throw out.

Year End Thoughts

This year has been a great year. We learned a lot and made many accomplishments like the walkway. Let’s hope the next years will be the same.

Josh

We have had a great year and increased our knowledge of Quaker values and being in a meeting by having our own smaller First Day School Meeting.

Walker

In First Day School Meeting, we made a pathway so people don’t have to walk on the road on snowy days.
